NOTE: (This article is intended to help stressed and frustrated business owners who are sick and tired of being sick and tired over their lack of sales results. If this, is you, and you are open and receptive to change because you are determined to improve your business, then I hope that this will be a good read.)

If your strategy sucks, STOP wondering why you are not attracting sales

Albert Einstein is widely credited with saying, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.”

I sometimes think that some business owners may be acting a bit insane when their strategy sucks, and they are unwilling to even listen to what may be perhaps a better way of doing business.

Now that I have written that, I will confess that I – myself - have been a bit insane in my own business from time to time. LOL

I say that because I have ignored or at times did not want to face the painful reality that I should change my business model and strategy, because I was not making the money I wanted or needed.

Now that I am thinking more clearly about my own business and I have worked with hundreds of clients, my recommendation is that if your strategy sucks - either because you have never really had a strategy, or because you are not generating income - STOP wondering why you are not attracting sales and change your strategy!!!

Now please answer the following question to yourself:

Are you 100% satisfied with your online sales results?

If you must think about it, maybe you are NOT!?!

Not 100% satisfied.

Perhaps You wanted to reach a certain 6-Figure income?

If you have ever attended one of my Live trainings, you have heard me say, “your strategy must always precede tactics and tools.”

By now you may be wondering why?

First, let me explain why I ask you to begin with a strategy.

The marketing strategy is your general plan of action and serves as the foundation of your marketing plan.

The Strategy is comprised of the tactics and tools that you use to take actions upon the written plan.
This written strategic plan should focus on both your long-term and short-term goals as well as include your tactics – which are focused on your present goals and the extremely near future.
As I write this, I just received the following quote: “Change your life today. Don't gamble on the future, act now, without delay.” Simone de Beauvoir

REMEMBER!!! - If what you are doing for your business is not getting the results you want and need - you must change your strategy - your numbers are indicating that things may not be working as you had hoped for.

You may agree that there are many ways of growing your business online. You may have tried many things, but you do not have a customized plan.

One of the more traditional ways that I - along with many business owners like me - have done is to attend a networking event with the hopes of meeting many people who may potentially become clients.

Before the pandemic, I was often asked by local Chambers of Commerce to come out and speak about small business marketing.

I used to attend these because they would afford me an opportunity to network with the attendees, and later I would be invited to attend other networking events.
I attended many in-person networking events. Similarly, since the pandemic, I have been attending virtual networking events. Much to my surprise, I now prefer online events to in-person ones.

I have discovered that I prefer connecting with people online better because I can get to know them personally without interruptions in a “Zoom” call. I also discovered that I am better at following up with people online. I can very easily visit a business owner’s website, Facebook page or profile, LinkedIn page or send them a quick follow-up email.

It is because I have personally begun more successfully connecting with people online that I am inviting you to connect with me and others online this upcoming Thursday, July 15th, 2021, at 2 p.m. ET.

If you would like to learn how to make better connections by networking online with prospective clients and creating synergy partners, check out one of our Synergy Partners Networking events.
